Configuring your Windows Mobile 5 or 6 to use the My Expat Network VPN service
Ok lets get you up and running. Before you know it you'll be watching your favourite UK TV shows, unblocking Facebook to catchup with friends and family, safe in the knowledge that you have secure internet access to our British servers.•••IMPORTANT•••
Where it states pp-username and paypalpassword use the Paypal generated username and password that was given to you during your subscription sign up for the My-Expat-Network service.
Step One
To create the L2TP connection, navigate to Start -> Settings
Step Two
Then choose Connections
Step Three
In the Connections options select Add a new VPN server connection
Step Four
In the next window enter the following information:Name: MyExpatUK
Host name/IP: www.my-expat-network.co.uk
And ensure that VPN Type is selected as IPSec/L2TP
Then click Next

Step Five
In the next window select the option for A pre-shared keyEnter the word: poikilo
Then click Next

Step Six
In the next window fill out the fields with the following information:User name: pp-username
Password: paypalpassword
Leave the Domain field empty.
Then click Advanced...

Step Seven
In both the TCP/IP tab and the Servers tab ensure that the options selected for both are: Use server-assigned IP addressOnce you've checked, then click ok and on the next screen click Finish


To Connect
The VPN service the connection can be started manually, from Start -> Settings-> Connections -> Connections-> Edit my vpn servers.Tap and hold the MyExpatUK connection to bring up a Connect option.

You should see a Connection bubble appear linked to the back and forth arrows at the top of your screen.

To Disconnect
Select the arrows on the top bar to manage connectivity.In the window that pops up click on Disconnect
