Signing up to the My Expat Network Service

Signing up should be a relatively simple and easy process but we've provided a step by step walk through in case you need some help.

Step 1

On most pages of the website you'll find a Subscribe button to allow you to join the My Expat Network service.

Simply click on one of these Subscribe buttons to be taken to the Paypal billing page.

Step Two

You will now be on a secure Paypal page (see the little padlock in the address bar) where you can complete your sign up by entering your Email address and password used for Paypal.

Once entered, click Log In to continue.

Step Three

Please ensure that the details are correct and click the Pay button.

Step Four

Login details provided by Paypal to let you download the My Expat Network VPN client

Congratulations you have now successfully joined the My Expat Network service.

•••Important Note•••

Paypal will automatically generate you a unique Username and Password. You will need this to log in to the My Expat Network website to download your unique VPN client which connects you to our UK based servers

Please ensure that you make a note of these details for use later.

Step Five

The email you recieve from paypal confirming your subscription

If you now go and check your E-mail you should see two new E-mails in your Inbox. If there hasn't been any E-mails you might want to look in your Junk E-mail folder in case your SPAM filters has automatically moved it there.

There should be one from Paypal confirming your subscription...

The email you recieve from My Expat Network confirming your subscription

and one from My Expat Network welcoming you to the service plus providing you with a web link for you to download the MyExpatNet VPN client installer software.

Step Six

Click on the web link in the last E-mail from My Expat Network to take you to the log in page where you will download the MyExpatNet VPN client installer.

Step Seven

Login page on the My Expat Network website

Enter the Username and Password that was provided to you by Paypal when you successfully completed the subscription to My Expat Network.

The click on the Login button.

Step Eight

Your Internet browser may ask you if you want it to remember your password details. There is no need for you to do this, so please click the No button.

Step Nine

Your Internet browser may also warn you that the page you will be going to contains both secure and non-secure items. This is fine as you will not be entering any details, merely downloading the software.

Please click on the Yes button to show both secure and non-secure items.

Step Ten

Thanks for joining message on the My Expat Website

On the Thanks for Joining page you will find a link to the MyExpatNet VPN client installer.

Please click on the link to begin downloading the installer.

Step Eleven

You will be asked if you want to Run or Save the MyExpatNet Installer software.

Click on the Save button.

Destination for your My Expat Network VPN client

When asked where you want to save the file to, choose your Desktop and then click the Save button.

On your Desktop you will now have the MyExpatNet Installer, ready for you to install on your PC.
